Bloodborne gets new PC support

Bloodborne, a game developed by From Software, has received a new feature with the addition of Nvidia's DLSS support in its PC port. This update brings improved performance and visual quality to players using compatible hardware.

From Software's game history

Alongside Dark Souls and Elden Ring, From Software has brought Bloodborne to enthusiasts of demanding games. Originally released on PlayStation 4 in 2015, the game remained a console exclusive, disappointing those who had been waiting for a port to PS5 or PC.

Unofficial PC port exists

While Sony has not addressed requests for a PC version, players have managed to emulate Bloodborne to play it on a computer, with higher performance as an added benefit. An unofficial native port, created by an internet user known by the username Super Medo, is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 and remains active.

DLSS feature demonstrated

On October 20, 2026, the YouTube channel MxBenchmarkPC demonstrated a new feature: support for Nvidia's DLSS Image Generation. The Bloodborne PC port significantly increases the frames per second counters, with various hardware configurations tested for performance.

DLSS and DLAA explained

DLSS allows the graphics card to calculate the rendering in a lower resolution than that of the screen, with the AI responsible for scaling it back up. DLAA is an AI improvement of the image and anti-aliasing without scaling, more resource-intensive than DLSS.

Performance improvements shown

In 4K with DLAA activated, the game reaches 40 FPS. When DLSS is used, it exceeds 100 FPS, with a maximum of 120 in Quality mode and a minimum of 130 in Performance mode. The lower the resolution, the higher the average frames per second, with peaks exceeding 200 in 1080p.
