Razer has released the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz, the latest addition to its Huntsman series of mechanical keyboards. This compact 60 percent keyboard is designed for users who want high performance in a smaller form factor. It features Razer's latest optical analog Gen-2 switches, which offer a range of customizable settings, including a variable actuation distance from 0.1 to 4.0 mm. These switches are said to be more precise than those of competing products, with a precision level of 0.1 mm, and each one is individually lubricated and enclosed in damping foam to provide a smooth keystroke and controlled sound.
The keyboard also includes real HyperPolling technology, which operates at a frequency of 8,000 Hz, reducing latency to just 0.48 milliseconds. This is reportedly 26 percent faster than the nearest competitor, based on internal testing. The device includes the full Advanced Input Control suite, which allows for features such as Snap Flex, Snap Tap, Dynamic Keystroke, and Dual-Keypress Priority, giving users greater control over their input experience.
The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz has an upper housing made from 5052 aluminum alloy with a brushed finish, ensuring durability and resistance to deformation. Its PBT double injection keycaps are designed to resist shine and discoloration over time. The modifier keys also function as directional keys, a feature typically found in larger keyboard models. Users can adjust the actuation height and Rapid Trigger settings directly from the number row, and up to six profiles can be saved in the keyboard's internal memory without the need for any additional software.
The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz is compatible with Razer Synapse Web, a software suite that allows for further customization and control. It is currently available for purchase at a price of 189.99 euros.
