Campaign highlights visual challenges

A campaign called Le Floot aims to raise awareness about the difficulties faced by people with visual impairments by using blur to simulate their experience. It seeks to encourage fans to regularly check their vision and understand the challenges of visual impairment.

Campaign location and setup

The campaign will be presented on the plaza of the Groupama Stadium before the match against the Aiglons on Sunday at 8:45 p.m. The setup will also be visible inside the Lyon stadium, with blur effects appearing on large screens, LED panels, and the ceremonial arch.

Visual changes in the stadium

As part of the campaign, the player name printing on the jerseys will be blurred. This visual modification is intended to give fans a glimpse of what it is like to have impaired vision and to encourage them to take their eye health seriously.

Other matches participate in the initiative

Olympique Lyonnais will not be the only club involved, as three other matches in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 will host this campaign during the weekend. This shows a broader effort across French football to raise awareness about vision health.

Campaign part of a larger health initiative

This initiative is part of the 1TEAM for Health in Action program, supported by the LFP and its partners to promote prevention and access to health through professional football. The campaign aims to use the influence of football to encourage healthier habits among fans.
