Event highlights postpartum care

The Perinatal Network of Mayotte (REPEMA), supported by the Regional Health Agency of Mayotte (ARS Mayotte), is hosting the 5th edition of the DITE TSITSI on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the CCAS of Acoua. This event is part of a series aimed at supporting mothers during the postpartum period.

Event location and purpose

The event will take place in the northern part of Mayotte, following previous editions in Grand Mamoudzou, Petite-Terre, the Center, and the South. The goal is to provide more mothers with access to a supportive environment for exchange, listening, and well-being after childbirth.

Activities and participants

The program includes sessions on breastfeeding with midwives, massage sessions by a physiotherapist, and relaxation in a welcoming atmosphere. While primarily intended for mothers, fathers and babies are also welcome. The event encourages sharing experiences and providing support to families during the postpartum period.

Information and support services

Mothers can ask questions, interact with health professionals, and learn about the postpartum journey. They can also register for the program, which offers individual or group appointments tailored to their specific needs.

Encouraging participation and self-care

REPEMA invites all mothers to join this event for a special time of self-care, learning, and discovering the support available after the birth of their child. The event aims to help mothers take care of themselves while connecting with others in similar situations.
