Humanitarian group launches new campaign

SOS Méditerranée, a European organization focused on rescuing people at sea, has partnered with the communication agency Bastille to create a fundraising campaign titled Ne les laissez pas disparaître ("Don’t Let Them Disappear"). The campaign aims to highlight the ongoing challenges faced by those in need of aid in the Mediterranean region.

Campaign concept centers on three disappearances

The campaign's creative concept revolves around three forms of disappearance: the loss of lives at sea, the fading visibility of a humanitarian crisis amid other global events, and the vulnerability of the small boats used for rescue operations. These themes are meant to draw attention to the urgency of the situation.

Actress Anna Mouglalis lends her voice

The campaign will be narrated by Anna Mouglalis, a French actress and long-time supporter of SOS Méditerranée. Her voice will be used to convey the emotional weight of the campaign’s message and to connect with the audience on a personal level.

Campaign runs through December 31

The campaign will be active from November 2 to December 31 and will be featured across multiple platforms, including television, cinema, posters, press, and social media. It will be supported by the media agency Klox, which will help manage its distribution and visibility.

Immersive elements enhance the message

To deepen engagement, the campaign will include immersive video capsules created from actual footage of SOS Méditerranée’s rescue missions. These videos will provide a direct and powerful look at the organization’s work and the risks involved in sea rescues.
