Festival supports maritime rescue group
A solidarity festival named Souvenirs d’enfance will take place in Marseille from November 9 to 15 in support of SOS Méditerranée. The festival's opening dinner will be held on November 9 at the Grandes Tables of the Friche la Belle de Mai. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the maritime rescue organization. Third edition of the event
This is the third edition of the festival, which previously supported UNICEF two years ago and the Marseille-based association Sourire à la Vie in 2025. The event is organized by the Marseille-based association Ébullition, founded by Louis Petre, and aims to bring together gastronomy, testimonials, and solidarity. Approximately 300 guests are expected at the opening dinner. Celebrity chefs and guests to attend
Six chefs will be present for a gastronomic menu, including starred chef Julien Diaz, Sébastien Cortez, Hugues Mbemba from the restaurant Le Kin / Libala, Laurène de Souza, young talent Lauris Navarro, and pastry chef Jérôme Raffaelli. Reporter Wilson Fache will also be present to share his experiences and discuss the challenges of maritime rescue. Restaurants join solidarity effort
Until November 15, a dozen Marseille restaurants will participate in the festival by offering a "solidarity dish" on their menus. For each dish ordered, an additional amount is added to the usual price, which will be donated to the NGO. The amount of this contribution is set by the participating establishments. Among the announced establishments are Robato, Fava, Ciel Rooftop, the Café du Fort at the Mucem, Sofrati, and Khantok. Details of the opening gala
The opening gala can be reserved through the ticketing platform (minimum 75 euros). The event will take place on Monday, November 9, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Grandes Tables of the Friche.
