Citroën, a French automaker known for its innovative and often quirky vehicles, is introducing a new **Outdoor** trim for its **C3** and **C3 Aircross** models, as well as a limited edition of the same name for its **Ami** electric vehicle. The Outdoor trim focuses on aesthetic changes and added features that give the cars a more rugged and adventurous appearance, though it is not intended to compete with true 4x4 off-road vehicles. These updates are primarily visual and include revised bumpers, red accents, and a more rugged presentation. For the **C3** and **C3 Aircross**, the Outdoor trim is positioned above the existing Max trim and includes new bumpers, a large grey "protection shoe" style piece, red "Infra Rouge" accents, and new 17-inch alloy wheels. A new Sequoia Green color has also been added to the palette. Inside, the Advanced Comfort seats feature red stitching, and the seat belts are also red. The **C3** also receives front parking sensors as part of the upgrade. The electric version of the **C3**, known as the **Citroën ë-C3 Outdoor**, retains its 113 horsepower electric motor and claims a range of 323 kilometers on a single charge. The **Citroën ë-C3 Aircross Outdoor**, on the other hand, is only available with an "extended range" battery, offering an announced operating range of 397 kilometers. This version also includes functional roof racks and LED fog lights, enhancing its practicality for more varied driving conditions. The **Citroën Ami**, a small electric vehicle designed for urban use, sees a more dramatic transformation with the Outdoor edition. This limited edition version features a Khaki Green exterior, white wheels, several stickers, a small spoiler, and most notably, a convertible roof. This is the first time a **Citroën Ami** with doors has included a convertible roof, a feature previously reserved for the **Ami Buggy** model. Inside, the Ami gets specific seats, red seat belts, and added storage accessories. While the vehicle retains its modest performance and urban focus, the Outdoor edition adds a touch of playfulness to an already whimsical design. Citroën has not yet announced the prices for these new Outdoor versions.
