SammyGuru obtains Galaxy Fit 4 app

The website SammyGuru has obtained the Galaxy Fit 4 Manager application, which will control the upcoming smartwatch from a smartphone. This app provides a look at the interface and features planned for the Galaxy Fit 4, Samsung’s first connected bracelet in nearly three years.

Design and interface details revealed

Earlier videos of the device, released on October 22, showed a design similar to the Galaxy Fit 3. The software uses the tile interface from that model, allowing users to scroll through up to twelve widgets, locate a lost phone nearby, and adjust notification settings to display alerts on the watch, phone, or both.

Screen size and color options

The application includes dials of 258 × 428 pixels, suggesting a slightly taller screen than the Galaxy Fit 3, which has a 256 × 402 pixel display. The Galaxy Fit 4 is expected to come in three colors: black, silver, and light green.

Health and fitness features

The Galaxy Fit 4 would track steps, active time, and calories. It would monitor heart rate with alerts for abnormal rhythms and measure stress continuously or on demand, with alerts after prolonged high stress. It would also track sleep phases, calculate a sleep score, and offer personalized coaching after seven recorded nights.

Additional health functions and limitations

The application also mentions measuring blood oxygen levels and detecting snoring, both of which would be done through the smartphone. However, the Galaxy Fit 4 would not include an integrated GPS, unlike the Galaxy Fit 3. Instead, it would rely on the smartphone to track the route of a walk or bike ride, unlike the Google Fitbit Edge or the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro.

Release date and price still unknown

Samsung has not yet announced a release date or price for the Galaxy Fit 4, leaving consumers to wait for further details from the company.
