Price drop for Google Pixel 10

The Google Pixel 10, which was released before the Pixel 11, has seen a significant price reduction on the Cdiscount website, dropping from its original launch price of 899 euros to 586.99 euros. This makes the Pixel 10 more accessible to consumers, especially considering its features.

Enhanced photography capabilities

One of the new features of the Pixel 10 is the introduction of a x5 telephoto lens, which enhances the smartphone's photography capabilities, performing well during the day and at night. This feature allows users to capture detailed images from a distance with improved clarity and detail.

High-brightness display

The device includes a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, making it suitable for outdoor use. This level of brightness ensures that the screen remains visible even in direct sunlight, improving usability in various lighting conditions.

Adaptive screen refresh rate

The screen has a refresh rate that ranges between 60 and 120 Hz. This adaptive refresh rate allows for smoother scrolling and more responsive interactions, depending on the content being displayed and the device's current workload.

Tensor G5 processor performance

Under the hood, the Pixel 10 is powered by the Tensor G5 processor, which, while versatile, leads to thermal throttling that affects performance on resource-heavy applications. This means that the device may slow down when running demanding tasks, such as gaming or video editing, to prevent overheating.

Battery life and design

The device has a 4970 mAh battery, providing good battery life. The Pixel 10 features a horizontal bar to accommodate the photo sensors, a design choice that distinguishes it from competitors who place their sensors in a corner. This layout is intended to optimize the use of space and improve the overall user experience.

Availability and pricing

The smartphone is available for 586.99 euros on Cdiscount. This price point positions the Pixel 10 as a more affordable option for those looking to purchase a high-end smartphone with advanced features.
