Stellantis unveils new vehicle platform

Stellantis introduced its STLA One platform in May 2023 as part of its FastLane 2030 strategic plan. This platform is designed to support a wide range of vehicle models across different market segments, including city cars, compact cars, and SUVs.

Platform supports multiple energy types

The STLA One is multi-energy capable, meaning it can support both fully electric powertrains and electrified internal combustion engines. Hybrid models based on this architecture are expected to be available by 2030.

New concepts at Paris Motor Show 2026

At the Paris Motor Show in 2026, several Stellantis brands showcased new vehicle concepts based on the STLA One platform. Peugeot, for example, unveiled the E-T16 Concept and the RCZ Vision, both of which highlight the platform's flexibility and potential for future designs.

First models to use the platform

Stellantis plans to launch the STLA One platform in early 2027. The first model to use it will be the future Peugeot E-208, followed by the Opel Corsa. Other models, including the Lancia Ypsilon and Peugeot 308, are also expected to be based on the platform in the near future.

Long-term production goals

The STLA One is expected to support more than thirty different models in the long term. Stellantis aims to produce two million units on this platform by 2035, emphasizing its importance in the company’s strategy to streamline development, reduce costs, and accelerate the introduction of new models.
