Electric motorcycle unveiled at event
Brabus and DAB Motors introduced the Brabus Urban E Fragment Edition, an electric motorcycle priced at 53,550 euros, limited to 10 units, and offering up to 150 km of range. The motorcycle was presented in early October at the ComplexCon event in Los Angeles.Collaboration with Japanese design label
The motorcycle was designed in collaboration with the Japanese label Fragment Design, founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara. The design features a black and white aesthetic with carbon fiber elements, white wheel covers, matching calipers, and a white leather saddle.Distinctive lighting and branding features
A translucent LED taillight incorporates the Fragment Design logo. The motorcycle includes a retro-lit Brabus logo, vertical daytime running lights, and machined aluminum controls, emphasizing its high-end appeal. An exclusive textile collection, including a jacket, gloves, and hoodie, accompanies the edition.Technical specifications and performance
The Brabus Urban E Fragment Edition retains a relatively standard specification for a lightweight electric motorcycle. It is equipped with a 27 kW (37 horsepower) motor, producing 475 Nm of torque at the rear wheel. The top speed is 120 km/h, and the 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery provides up to 150 km of range.Charging and driving modes
Charging takes between three and four hours using a 220 V domestic socket. Five driving modes are available, including a Nitrous mode that provides a power boost for ten seconds and a reverse mode. The chassis includes a 46 mm adjustable inverted fork, a CNC shock absorber, and Brembo brakes with ABS in two channels.Target audience and uncertainty about usage
The motorcycle is not aimed at the general market but rather at collectors and enthusiasts of rare items, given its high price and limited production run. It remains to be seen whether these ten units will be used on the road or displayed in private garages.
